A reminder: Sunday Feb. 3, from 2 to 4 pm, at the Durham Community Centre, Bill Blair, Canada’s Minister of Border Security and Organized Crime Reduction, along with MP Larry Miller, will have a public meeting for consultations on firearms-related topics. Please attend! We want to have as large a turnout as possible. You don’t need to speak, just show up.
We do not yet know the agenda for the meeting — whether it will be Bill C-71, proposed handgun bans, or something else. If you wish to speak, Larry Miller advises that you have a question or statement prepared in advance, be polite, and keep it brief, 90 seconds or less. If you wish to make a longer statement or presentation, Miller asks that you email a copy in advance to his Owen Sound Constituency Office.
Thanks to the Owen Sound Revolver Club for some of the information above. I’ll try to keep this post updated as I learn more. – Brad
